KISE – In a groundbreaking initiative for academic collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Environmental Engineering Study Program at the Universitas of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur welcomed distinguished guests from Tai & Chyun Company Taiwan and Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) on Friday, November 3, 2023. The warm reception was led by Prof. Euis Nurul Hidayah, ST., MT., Ph. D., Vice Rector I of Academics at UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. This visit began a promising partnership to unlock many opportunities for students and faculty members.
During their meeting, the representatives from these institutions discussed potential collaboration opportunities. One of the key focus areas was the creation of internships for UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur students at Tai & Chyun Company. These internships are designed to provide students with invaluable real-world experience in environmental engineering. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) currently under consideration will serve as the cornerstone of this partnership, outlining the terms and conditions for their cooperation and charting a course towards a sustainable and environmentally conscious future in environmental engineering.
