Rector of UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi, MMT receives a visit from Khairun University, Ternate for comparative studies with the Vice-Rector II of Khairun University, Dr. Abdul Wahab Hasyim, S. E., M. Si. and other 10 executive board members in Room Arjuno, Rectorate Building on January, 21st.

In this event, Rector of UPN “Veteran Jawa Timur explains UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur development for 5 years into a state university.  “It is such an honor and pleasure for us to be present here with Khairun University. I hope Khairun University will become a more independent Public Service Agency (BLU) university,” said the Rector. 

Vice-Rector II of Khairun University Ternate expressed his gratitude towards UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur, “we convey the highest sense of emotion and respect,” said Dr. Wahhab Hashim. This event aims to share and absorb the knowledge of the Public Service Agency (BLU) system in UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. “We, Khairun University, want to learn about the financial management of BLU with UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. This could be a good start for cooperation with each other in the field of Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi).

Then, the next agenda is a welcome speech by the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi and Vice-Rector II of Khairun University Dr. Wahab Hasyim, followed by the discussion session between two universities. The discussion includes tips and tricks for managing financial documents before submitting them to the Ministry of Finance and financial management after the Decree of BLU. 

The discussion ends with another agenda, which is to walk around with Khairun University members into the facilities owned by UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur, which are BAKPK Building, Data Center, and to see the research results of Lecturers and Students of UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur in Technopark Building.
