After finishing with Volunteer Batch 1, The International Office UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur is now opening Volunteer Batch 2! We are calling you to actively participate in supporting a fun and engaging program specially designed for the international community at UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Through this volunteering program, you will explore and find the opportunities that best suit you!
General Requirements
- An active student of UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur semester 3-6
- Minimum IPK 3.0
- Confident in communicating and writing in English
- Commit to doing fun volunteering projects for six months
- Showing admirable interpersonal and organizational skills
- Have good time-management skills
Divisions and Specific Requirements
1. Communication & Creative Media
| Roles | Job Description | Specific Requirements |
| Graphic Design | – Partner with Content Writer and Event Management to design and update print and digital material, including forms, flyers, etc. – Create graphics for the company website and other social sites such as Facebook and Instagram. | -Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, InDesign, Corel). – A keen eye for aesthetics and details (proven by portfolio). |
| Content Writer | – Writing engaging and insightful editorial content for our website. – Working together with the team to produce content. | – Strong attention to detail; ability to conduct thorough and meticulous research. – Knowledge of SEO will be a plus. |
| Videographer | – Recording International Office’s program lives events, filming, and editing final products. – Making documentaries/short films that would be posted on Instagram and website. | – Good computer skills in editing software, like Adobe, Cinema 4d, Filmora, etc. – Possess filming and creativity skills (proven by portfolio). |
2. International Student Support

| – Providing hospitality and accommodation service to international students/guests. – Becoming friends or reliable sources for international students and helping them adjust to a new culture. – Arranging engaging events to make them feel at home. – Assist them if they have trouble in their study/academic system. | – Friendly is a must. 3. Event & Community
