Walailak University (WU) is a comprehensive university, located in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. This university is comprised of 14 faculties, a graduate school, and three international colleges. Wailalak University has achieved the regional rank of 551-600 in Asia certified by Asia University Rankings 2022. WU has more than 9000 students from various countries with diverse cultures that make up an inclusive student network.

Walailak University also serves as an important center for research and creating innovation, and solving problems of global interest. There is much research is undertaken through WU’21 Centers of Excellence which cover fields from science to medical to societal and ecological endeavors, often underscored by sustainability principles. Walailak university opens admission for international programs for master’s and doctoral degrees. International students have the option of studying either all or some of the program’s courses or working with a supervisor on a topic of the student’s interest. This program provides full scholarship and research support for international students.  This program is available for three academic disciplines, that is health sciences, science & technology, and social science.

There are a limited number of scholarships available that cover tuition fees, accommodation, and medical insurance. The application should include a letter of introduction, a transcript of the applicant’s bachelor’s degree, and a letter of recommendation.
