KISE – Indonesia International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) is a program held by the Government of Indonesia that provides many desired students to study abroad. Undergraduate students could spend one semester at the finest university in the world to learn and experience the host country’s culture. Therefore, International Office UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur held IISMA Camp for UPNVJT’s students.

IISMA Camp 2022 aims to give students preparation and guidelines to participate in IISMA 2022. This event is also a requirement to get a Letter of Recommendation from the dean university. Surprisingly, the enthusiasm was high! One hundred and thirteen students registered in no time. This number has increased eight times compared to the previous year. Aurriel advised them to be smooth in the interview process, identify themselves and what plans they want, and do an interview simulation with their friends. “Please do your best, and it will work,” she said.

The second session discussed the interview delivered by (Ms.) Oktifani Winarti, S.I.Kom., M.A. and (Mr.) Muhammad Indrawan Jatmika, S.IP., M.A. The highlight of the discussion is the importance of preparation and the importance of many practices.
